International brands Ulyana Sergeenko and Ilja will show on the Paris couture calendar in July, the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture told WWD on Wednesday. The group's new guest members both have experience showing couture collections off of the official calendar.
Ulyanna Sergeenko first showed couture in Paris in July 2012. The Moscow-based designer is also considered a socialite and photographer. Brand Ilja is based out of Amsterdam.

The Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture is controlled by The Fédération Française de la Couture, du Prêt-à-Porter des Couturiers et des Créateurs de Mode. Ralph Toldano serves as president of the organization and reviews its official haute couture houses annually.
Only fashion houses that have been approved by the French Ministry of Industry are allowed to use the title of haute couture.
This exclusive group includes Alexis Mabille, Chanel and Christian Dior, among others. Designers are required to adhere to some strict standards. For example, each member must offer made-to-order items for private clients, employ at least 15 workers in an atelier in Paris and present a collection in January and July of every year.
Back in December, Alexandre Vauthier became the newest member of the prestigious Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture. The designer worked as Jean Paul Gaultier's studio director for eight years, leaving the brand in 2006 to work at Thierry Mugler. After three years, in 2009, Vauthier started his own eponymous label.
One year prior, Bouchra Jarrar was upgraded from guest member of its couture calendar — like Ulyana Sergeenko and Ilja — to official member of the priviledged group. Jarrar also has experience working with Gaultier, as well as Balenciaga.
Last November, Schiaparelli was also elected a new guest member of the Chambre Syndicale.
