Tommy Hilfiger sent the rumour mill into overdrive this weekend after stating that Pippa Middleton may well be working with his brand in the near future. Speaking at an event recently, the designer explained his hopes that Ms Middleton would soon be working with his designer label.

"I was with [the Duchess'] sister Pippa last night. And she's a candidate for Tommy Hilfiger," the designer told US Hello.

Not giving too much away, it's not known whether Pippa would be the face of the brand or take on a role as a brand ambassador. She may even put her designing skills into practice, having recently collaborated with Tabitha Webb on an accessory collection. What we can be sure is that Tommy is super keen to get the party planner on board, even sending her pieces from his collection to wear.

Being such an all American brand, the choice is a fairly surprising one for Tommy Hilfiger picking the ultimate British beauty, however, her grown-up, traditional style is certainly on point for the brand. She often favours elegant girly dresses or chic sporty separates, making her the perfect choice to showcase Hilfiger's creations.

Pippa would be following in the footsteps of Katie Holmes who has previously fronted the American brand and would be joining Rafael Nadal who was recently announced as the face of Tommy Hilfiger's new fragrance.

A woman of many talents, Ms Middleton completed the 54-mile Brighton to London bike ride with her brother this weekend, raising money for the British Heart Foundation.
